BOSE QC35 FIRMWARE UPDATE

Update 5: and it's shit again. One area in which the Bose QuietComfort 45 are the clear winner is price. Aaaand he walked right passed me and on to the next colleague. Trying to look busy typing something important. Just going to type a bit more and maybe they'll stop it.So yeah. As i'm typing someone is waving at me, so i guess they are struggeling to get my atttention. When i listen to music on low volume, i can't really hear much talking either. Also it "sounds" more closed around my ears than it did earlier.

Update 4: Feeling a bit nauseous as i did the first time i used them, so it's definitly working (Feels so wrong saying that). Need to test it more as my work enviroment is pretty quiet and talking/keyboard typing seems to be in a frequency that ANC does not filter. Update 3: Upgraded to 1.3.2 - I think it helped?.

BOSE QC35 FIRMWARE UPGRADE

Update: I'm on firmware 1.0.6 - Should i just try to upgrade it to the newest version? I will check to see what firmware i'm on, and try to update. I believe it's been degraded over the last few days. But after a couple of days i was like "wait a minute." and now i think the ANC is shitty. At first it was awesome as i was not used to ANC. Just connected to BT and started using it. I just want to chime in that i got the qc35 a week ago, and did not do anything to update it. Then after adding 1.0.4 to downgrade list they started ranting about how it is not 'real' 1.0.4, but some nerfed version. Bose allowed downgrades to 1.0.4 after various people were ranting on forums about them 'hiding something' by not allowing to go pre-1.0.6. I am also using QC35 - in my case I hear no differences between 1.0.6, 1.2.10 and 1.3.2 in high mode.My private theory is that using mobile app to upgrade in some rare cases breaks something. there are even some conspiracy theories about Bose downgrading all QC35 manufactured in 2017 (it was a response to people going to shops and comparing their upgraded headsets with unupgraded demo units), later conspiracy theorists went into even deeper rabbit hole and insisted that QC25 are downgraded as well (as response to people comparing their QC35 with demo QC25 units).for some people 1.3.2 restored ANC to proper levels, for others not.some people managed to 'restore' by going back to 1.0.6, others did not.some people say 1.2.10 make ANC drastically worse, other say it is the same.some review sites tried to find out more and generally agreed that there is no difference.Bose insists there are no ANC differences in any firmware version. The situation is however horribly confused:
